Tyson #11 Senior a key player in leading the Blue Devils as he compiled 303 yards and six touchdowns on 55 carries and Kenesaw took down Sandhills/Thedford 46-40 in the Class D-2 state championship game! As a running back he always fights for more yards, keeps an impressive attitude and is an all or nothing player.
Playoff stats he broke include: Playoff rushing record 1257 yards, TD’s in the playoffs 26, and Pts. scored 192 pts. in the playoffs.
Tyson surpassed 5,000 rushing yards for his career, joining a short list of athletes to achieve this accomplishment, of which he attributes to his teammates who helped open holes so he could find his way through.
Denkert has not committed to any school yet, but does plan on playing football at the next level.  He is going through the recruiting process and will way all his options.
