SIDNEY, NE — An access point to Sidney's hospital will be soon be shut down as construction crews work on a nearby highway.

According to Sidney Regional Medical Center, access to Pole Creek Crossing from Link 17-J will be closed for 10 days starting Wednesday, Sept. 29.

This closure is necessary for construction crews to complete work on that section of Link 17J.

People can still access Pole Creek Crossing from Fort Sidney Road or Greenwood Road in the meantime.

As part of the Link 17J project, a right hand turn lane will be added to the southbound lanes to provide easier access to the hospital in the future.
