NSAA honors individual contributions to high school activities

The Nebraska School Activities Association announced the recipients of the 2021-22 NSAA Distinguished Service and Outstanding Service Awards.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Nebraska School Activities Association announced the recipients of the 2021-22 NSAA Distinguished Service and Outstanding Service Awards. The awards recognize individuals for their extraordinary contributions, dedication and service to the NSAA, NSAA activities and NSAA member schools.

Among the honorees were three people with Norfolk ties, and two from Columbus.

Norfolk's Greg and Kristy Parr received the Distinguished Service Award, while Norfolk speech coach Peggy Belt received the Outstanding Service Award.

Columbus residents Deb Loseke and Al Niedbalski received the Outstanding Service Award for their work with golf.
