Texas squad eliminates Hastings team from LLWS

By News Channel NebraskaWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- After making the longest Little League World Series run of any Nebraska team in history, the team from Hastings has seen its time in Williamsport come to a close.
The Nebraska squad dropped a 10-0 decision to the team from Wylie, Texas.
After qualifying for the LLWS by winning its regional tournament, Hastings defeated teams from New Jersey and Washington, with a loss to Hawaii sandwiched between.
The Hastings team's qualification is just the second appearance by a Nebraska team. Kearney Little League qualified for the tournament in 2012.
