NORFOLK, Neb. – Multiple teens were arrested for drug charges, among others, during weekend incidents.

On Saturday morning, Norfolk Police had contact with a male juvenile who was in a vehicle parked in a parking lot at E. Nebraska and N. Oak Street.

Officers discovered the teen was in possession of marijuana. During a further search, a glass pipe, which contained methamphetamine, was also reportedly located. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released to a parent.

A day later, a 2017 Lincoln MKT was reported stolen. On Monday morning, Norfolk Police officers observed the stolen vehicle and conducted a high risk traffic stop on the vehicle, according to a press release.

The vehicle was occupied by three 14-year-olds, one male and two females. The male juvenile was arrested for theft of the vehicle, no operator's license, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
