Matuszewski Signs With Peru State Cross Country

Peru State cross-country coach James Cole recently announced that Jeremy Matuszewski (Bellevue) signed his national letter of intent to join the Bobcats this fall.<br/>

(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State cross-country coach James Cole recently announced that Jeremy Matuszewski (Bellevue) signed his national letter of intent to join the Bobcats this fall.
 
The son of Mary and Dean Matuszewski graduated from Bellevue East High School last month.
 
Matuszewski was a multi-sport athlete for the Chieftains. He was the 2021 powerlifting state champion at 148 pounds, a varsity soccer player, a varsity ice hockey player, as well as, a three-time varsity cross country runner.
 
He plans on majoring in kinesiology and minoring in psychology this fall. In addition to his cross country award, Matuszewski will be receiving the cooperating schools scholarship.
 
Cole commented, "I'm very excited to add Jeremy to our Fall 2021 roster. He is a proven multi-sport student athlete who is eager to work and succeed at everything he does."
