Torrington appoints Catherine Steinbock to city council

The City of Torrington will fill a vacated city council seat tonight at a regularly scheduled council meeting.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The City of Torrington filled a vacated city council seat Tuesday night at a regularly scheduled council meeting.

Catherine Steinbock will replace Deanna Hill who moved to another state before finishing her four year term. Steinbock will finish the remaining two years of Hill’s term.

Currently she serves as an Educational Specialist on the Wyoming and Family Board of Directors and was appointed by former Wyoming Governor Mead to the Wyoming Early Childhood State Advisory Council.
