An Iowa man was arrested and charged in federal court today accused of what is described as the "violent entry" of the US Capitol on January 6.

An Iowa man was arrested and charged in federal court today accused of what is described as the "violent entry" of the US Capitol on January 6.

Leo Christopher Kelly is named in an FBI affidavit.

According to the FBI, during an internet interview, the Cedar Rapids man said he may have done something wrong, adding that when you come to the end of your rope you get swept up in a movement.

Kelly said, "God will judge us."

The affidavit also notes that Kelly told an Iowa newspaper that he is not a violent person.
