Chadron volleyball returns to win column

The Chadron High volleyball team moved their record to 7-7 on Thursday night with a 3-1 win over Scottsbluff at the Bird Cage.

The Chadron High volleyball team moved their record to 7-7 on Thursday night with a 3-1 win over Scottsbluff at the Bird Cage.

The Lady Cardinals won the first two sets fairly easily 25-15, 25-6 before Scottsbluff stormed back to win set #3 25-19. Chadron closed out the match by winning the 4th set 25-20.

Tatum Bailey had eight kills and four blocks. Macey Daniels and Anika Burke had eight kills a piece.

Emma Cogdill had 33 set assists and 21 digs.

After the game Chadron head coach Blakelee Hoffman said, “Despite a little setback in the third set, I was really happy with our performance tonight.”

Chadron will have a home game on Tuesday night against Gordon-Rushville.
