OMAHA - After a night of peace, Omahans will get to stay out late on Saturday.

Mayor Jean Stothert announced Saturday that the city would be lifting the overnight curfew from 10 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday.

Stothert cited Friday's peaceful protests for allowing the curfew to be lifted a day early.

Omaha Police said no one was arrested at any of the numerous events around town.

Omaha's State of Emergency is still in effect until Tuesday. That allows Stothert to take any other emergency actions she sees fit.
