Columbus Pair arrested on Felony drug charges on Main Street in Stanton

Two Columbus residents are in Stanton County Jail on felony drug charges after authorities say they were found passed out at wheel.

STANTON - Two Columbus residents are in Stanton County Jail on felony drug charges after authorities say they were found passed out at wheel.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says deputies found a car stopped near 12th and Ivy Streets in Stanton around 7:00 a.m.

Authorities say the driver and passenger were found passed out in the front seats with the car running.

The Sheriff's office says that an investigation led to the arrest of the driver, 30-year-old Caleb Blomberg, on charges of Driving While under the Influence, Driving During Suspension and various other drug charges.

The passenger and owner of the car, 19-year-old Cassie Navrakal, was also arrested on various drug charges.

Both have pending court dates scheduled for June pending posting of bond.
