Beatrice blows past Scottsbluff to advance to the Class B State Title
It will be two southeast Nebraska rivals squaring off in the Class B State Title after Beatrice blows past Scottsbluff 43-26. They will play Crete Saturday.
By News Channel NebraskaLINCOLN - The Lady Orange jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, routing Scottsbluff 43-26. That win puts them in the Class B Final where they meet up with southeast Nebraska rival Crete.
The Lady Orange defense held an impressive Scottsbluff offense to just 13 points in the first half, holding a 21-13 lead.
The second half nearly mirrored the first, with Beatrice outscoring Scottsbluff 22-13.
Beatrice ended up winning 43-26 behind 17 points from Carley Leners.
