Harrisburg man faces third degree sexual assault of child charges

A Harrisburg man is facing two counts of third degree sexual assault of a child and a $150,000 bond.

HARRISBURG, Neb. - (KNEP) - A Harrisburg man is facing two counts of third degree sexual assault of a child and a $150,000 bond.

According to the affidavit, the victim told officers during a CAPstone interview that Matthew Marino allegedly physically abused and attempted to sexually assault her multiple times between 2014-16.

It is also alleged the now 40-year-old attempted to inappropriately touch the victim prior to 2014.

Marino’s first court appearance is scheduled for March 3rd.
