An Omaha man is in jail after being arrested on murder and assault charges in connection with a homicide investigation.

OMAHA - An Omaha man is in jail after being arrested in connection with a homicide investigation.

Omaha Police have arrested 25-year-old Anthony Donald in connection with homicide that happened on N. 20th Street on Sunday night.

Police were originally called to the area on reports of an assault.

The victim, 74-year-old James Moore, was taken to Nebraska Medical Center where he later died.

Donald is charged with 2nd-Degree Murder, 2nd-Degree Assault, three counts Use of a Weapon and an outstanding outside agency warrant.

The investigation is ongoing.
