Lincoln convenience store robbed at gunpoint overnight

Lincoln Police are working to identify a man who held up Casey's General store Monday morning.

LINCOLN - Lincoln Police are working to identify a man who held up Casey's General store Monday morning.

According to LPD, it happened just after 2 a.m. at the convenience store near 9th and South streets.

LPD said the man showed a handgun and demanded money.

Police say the clerk locked himself in a back room, and the suspect wasn't able to get any money but made off with $13 in tobacco products.

No injuries were reported.

Police are asking anyone who may know something to call the police or Lincoln Crime Stoppers.
