AURORA - Residents of Aurora are being warned of an ongoing scam in the area.

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce says someone is calling businesses claiming to be with the School. The caller claimed to be selling ads for a Winter Sports Calendar.

When a business asked for a number to call back the caller claimed they had two numbers. When the business called back the number was no longer in service.

The Chamber says with a higher rate of scam calls lately, if you suspect that a call might be a scam, please ask to call them back or ask for a copy of the material layout. If they get aggressive or hang up they are a scam call and you should not give them any money.
