Gold Star Mothers Recognize 30 Years of Military Service

The Gold Star Mothers of America and John E. Walls auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars presented a quilt of valor to Veteran of Foreign Wars past commander Roger Kopf.

Kopf was recognized for his years of active participation in the VFW and his nearly 30 years of military service in both the Navy and Army.

The quilt was made and presented by Barbara Worthman of Treynor, Iowa, a Gold Star Mother.
