Warner Music NashvilleBlake Shelton is celebrating his 26th career number one by stripping it down: He’ll release an acoustic version of “God’s Country” on Friday.

It’s a track that one of the song’s writers, Devin Dawson, will no doubt be glad to hear.

“Thanks for singing the S*** out of it. CHEERS buddy!!” Devin responded, after Blake thanked the “incredibly talented writers” -- who also include HARDY and Jordan Schmidt -- for the success of the song.

Meanwhile, Blake already has another hit climbing the chart: his duet with Garth Brooks, “Dive Bar.”  The two will perform it together for the first time during Garth's tour stop at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho on Friday, July 19.

This Friday, Blake plays Harveys Outdoor Amphitheatre at Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
