Verdigre update on boil water notice and flood recovery

VERDIGRE, NE (KBRX) - This update was sent Tuesday, May 7, 2019 for residents in the Verdigre area:

Boil Water Advisory is predicted to start on Thursday, May 9, 2019 around 1:00 p.m. and will be in effect for several days. Water supply will be off for approximately four hours, tentatively 1:00-5:00 p.m. Who must boil water (1-3 minutes, water you consume): Town of Verdigre and customers of West Knox Rural Water System who are served off the storage at the west tank. (This advisory is dependent on weather and repairs going as planned.)
Bottled water is available at Village Office on Main St. There will be a pallet of water on sidewalk for the duration of water advisory.
Regarding drywall: "For those who still need it, the Orphan Grain Train has set up an account at Schreier's Lumber Co. and through them we are donating sheetrock, tape, screws, mud and insulation to anyone affected by the flood.
