CENTRAL CITY, NE (Eric McKay / News Channel Nebraska) - Heavy winds and hail fell in south central Nebraska Wednesday evening prompting a number of severe alerts overnight.
In Central City, winds approached 40 miles per hour while about 2/10? of rain fell.
Farther southwest, storm spotters in Kearney reported golf ball-sized hail and 35 mile per hour winds.
