Senior Meghan Straub helps Nebraska bowling advance to semifinals of NCAA championship

WICKLIFFE, Ohio - The Nebraska bowling team went 4-0 on Thursday to advance to the semifinals at the NCAA championship.


The Huskers defeated Arkansas State 996-969 and 1,097-1,011 before beating Sacred Heart 1,015-999 and 1,024-858.
Sacred Heart upset No. 1 seed Vanderbilt in the first round.


Senior Meghan Straub led NU, finishing with an average of 248.5.


The Huskers will play the winner of Vanderbilt and No. 2 seed McKendree in a semifinal match at 2 p.m. Friday.
