Hastings Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Wreck

A Hastings man died in a single-vehicle crash in rural Adams County on Tuesday morning.

HASTINGS, Neb. — A Hastings man died in a single-vehicle crash in rural Adams County on Tuesday morning.

According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, James Anderson Sr. of Hastings was driving a pickup truck southbound on Showboat Boulevard near Blue Valley Road at about 9 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway while rounding a curve. The truck went down an embankment and rolled.

Anderson was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Nebraska State Patrol and Lawrence Fire and Rescue.
