HASTINGS, Neb. – Hastings College is promoting a long-time employee to Dean of two university offices.

Traci Boeve, a 1993 Hastings College graduate, has been named Dean of Enrollment and Financial Aid.

Boeve began her career in the Hastings College admissions office 31 years ago, eventually becoming director before moving to lead the financial aid office eight years ago.

In this new role, Boeve will oversee both the admissions and financial aid teams, plus sit on the College’s Executive Committee.

“I was delighted to announce the appointment of Traci to this position, and we are thrilled to see her step into this pivotal leadership role,” said Hastings College President Dr. Rich Lloyd. “Traci brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of Hastings College to this position. Her comprehensive experience across financial aid and admissions, coupled with her long-standing commitment to Hastings College, makes her an exceptional fit for this role.”

Lloyd noted that enrollment is a College-wide initiative that is critical to the success of the institution, and that Boeve is the right leader to engage and collaborate with everyone on campus involved with the effort.

“I grew up in Hastings and was a first generation college student who chose to go to the hometown college to play sports and earn degrees in math and economics,” Boeve said. “At the time I never imagined having a career here, but working with students and families who are in the process of choosing a college is such an honor and a privilege. It’s where I belong, and I’m thankful for this new opportunity to work with all of campus as we continue to share what a great place Hastings College is to earn a degree.”
