SYRACUSE – Otoe County 4-H Horse Show Judge Corrane Moss of Wymore called the costume class Friday amazing, including the first construction horse she’s ever seen.

Moss: “Look at everything that horse has hung on it. Look at what he’s tolerating. He even has a hard hat on and the sing says ‘hold your horses. That’s going to be the top purple right there.

Elsie England described the costume of road barricades, flashers and road signs.

England: Did you think of the idea yourself? “Kind of. We saw an idea and then I made more things and added to it.”

She agreed with the judge about her horse Blaze’s willingness to carry the costume.

England: “He doesn’t really care for things so we just did this.”

What happens if the road construction crews try to hire you? Are you going to be ready to go?

England, “Yay.”
