Cyndi was born on November 25, 1968, to Nels and Joan (Pittman) Andersen, Cyndi grew up in Hastings, NE and graduated from Adams Central High School in 1986. That same year, on August 1, she married Gregorio Garcia, and together they had two children, Angela and Brandon, who were the pride of her life.

Throughout her life, Cyndi was known for her strong work ethic and compassionate nature. She held various positions over the years, including at Andy's Cafe, delivering pharmaceutical routes, and working for American Eagle Financial Services. She spent ten years at the Hastings Regional Center and later joined the team at Kenesaw Haven Home, where she provided care and companionship to others. She had a heart for caring for people. Unfortunately, her career was cut short as her health declined, and she retired due to disability.

Cyndi will be remembered for her resilience, her love for her family, and her ability to brighten a room with her presence.
