KEARNEY, Neb. - One central Nebraska woman was transported to a hospital following a three-car accident Thursday afternoon that left her trapped in her car with minor injuries.

The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon in Kearney, at the intersection of E Ave and 39th St.

While on scene, NCN observed fire crews working to free a woman from her car as she found herself trapped in the wreckage.

Authorities say the driver of the black car involved was transported to a local hospital by EMS as a precaution for minor injuries.

The other vehicles suffered minor damage, while the drivers and passengers involved were not injured.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
