Lakeview Hires Caleb Kluender as Boys Basketball Coach

COLUMBUS, Neb. — Lakeview High School has a new boys basketball coach.

COLUMBUS, Neb. — Lakeview High School has a new boys basketball coach.

Caleb Kluender has been an assistant at Omaha Concordia the past six season. During that stretch the Mustangs compiled a record of 127-36 and qualified qualified for state five seasons in a row between 2021 and 2025. This past season Omaha Concordia finished class C1 runner-up.

Kluender's 10 years of coaching experience also includes being head varsity coach at Wausa and head freshman coach at Elkhorn South.

Kluender played football in college and was as a 4x GPAC champion under Steve Ryan at Morningside University.

The Lakeview boys program finished the past season 9-14.
