Former Trumbull resident Paul D. Jensen Sr., 77, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Central Nebraska Veterans Home, Kearney, NE.

 

Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 24, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. The burial will be held at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Paul was born July 2, 1947, in Audubon, IA to Richard and Blanch (Anders) Jensen. He graduated from Ruskin High School. Paul served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969. He married Vivian Staatz on September 26, 1969, at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Ruskin, NE; she preceded him in death on June 26, 2014.

 

Paul worked as an auto mechanic in the area for many years and was the Fire Chief in Trumbull for multiple years. Paul enjoyed visiting and helping people.

 

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vivian Jensen; two sisters, Lucille and Jeanette.
