CENTRAL CITY, Neb. — Nobody is injured after a fire destroyed a building in rural Merrick County.

Several agencies responded to the fire call around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon about 12 miles northeast of Grand Island. Authorities reported it as a large structure fire. Photos shared by the Merrick County Sheriff’s Office show a building completely burned down and a trailer home destroyed. 

Nobody was home at the time of the fire.

St. Libory, Chapman, Palmer, Grand Island Rural Fire Departments and the Merrick County Sheriff's Office responded to this incident.
