Buffalo County Fair tabs country acts BlackHawk, Sammy Kershaw, Ian Munsick as 2025 headliners
KEARNEY, Neb. — The Buffalo County Fair is bringing country music legends and rising stars to Kearney for its 2025 concerts.
The fair announced both of its concerts on Monday morning. BlackHawk and Sammy Kershaw will headline the show on Friday, July 25. Ian Munsick with special guest Josh Ross will take the stage on Saturday, July 26.
Both shows start at 7:30 p.m. at Landmark Implement Arena. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 1 0:00 a.m. via etix.
BlackHawk and Kershaw will bring 90s country to Kearney. BlackHawk, led by founding members Henry Paul and Dave Robbins, were nominated for five Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association awards between 1993 and 1995. The group boasts 16 top 50 singles on the US Country chart including “Goodbye Says it All”, “I’m Not Strong Enough to Say No” and “Like There Ain’t No Yesterday.”
Kershaw has released 16 studio albums, three of which are certified platinum. He notched 25 top 50 hits from 1991-1999 including “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful”, “Third Date Romance” and “Love of My Life.”
Munsick, 31, and Ross, 28, bring a younger perspective to Saturday night. Munsick, who headlined county fair shows in Adams and Madison counties last year, is a Wyoming native with three published albums. He has two charting singles to his name, including “Long Live Cowgirls” with Cody Johnson.
Ross, from Burlington, Ontario, is breaking into the US market after becoming a country sensation in Canada. Ross’s singles “Trouble”, “Ain’t Doin’ Jack” and “Single Again” each reached the top spot on the Canadian Country chart.
