GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — For the second time in as many years, one of the most prestigious high school volleyball programs in the state is looking for a new head coach.
Grand Island Central Catholic published a job listing for its head coach position on Wednesday. Trey and Tina Salinas served as co-head coaches this past season. They had both been college coaches before.
The Crusaders finished 12-18 and lost eight of their final 10 games. The Salinas's replaced Sharon Zavala, who retired last year after 49 years as head coach. She is the winningest coach in state history.
