PALMER, Neb. — A 20-year-old Central Nebraska man has died following a two-vehicle crash.

The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the accident around 7:15 Sunday morning on Highway 92 about three miles south of Palmer. Investigators say Joshua Roesler of Elba was driving west when his car crossed the center line and hit an eastbound pickup. Roesler died at the scene. The people in the pickup weren’t injured.

The Sheriff’s Office says Roesler wasn’t wearing his seat belt and all three people in the pickup were wearing theirs.
