A Flood Communications executive is now the leading the board of directors for the Nebraska Broadcasters Association.

LINCOLN — A Flood Communications executive is now the leading the board of directors for the Nebraska Broadcasters Association.

Jessie Johnson started in her role as chairperson of the board after this week’s NBA Convention. Johnson is the General Manager for Flood’s Kearney properties, including 98.9 The Vibe and ESPN Tri-Cities.

Johnson has served on the NBA board since 2018. She was nominated for the board’s executive committee and served as treasurer, secretary, vice chair and chairperson elect before taking the top position.

As chairperson, Johnson will work with NBA President Jim Timm on all association decisions, will help organize the annual convention and coordinate the executive committee meetings.
