Damage survey reveals two tornadoes in Central Nebraska

Weather officials are releasing data from Monday’s severe storms.

BEAVER CITY, Neb. — Weather officials are releasing data from Monday’s severe storms.

The National Weather Service says two tornadoes briefly touched down in Central Nebraska. Neither tornado was extreme enough to warrant an EF-Scale Rating.

The first tornado touched down at 5:51 Monday night near Beaver City. The second touched down at 7:07 about 10 miles southwest of Minden.

The storms spawned three tornado warnings and several thunderstorm warnings.
