Nebraska native returns to lead Kearney Family YMCA

A Central Nebraska native is returning to the area as the new CEO of the Kearney Family YMCA.

KEARNEY, Neb. - A Central Nebraska native is returning to the area as the new CEO of the Kearney Family YMCA.

The Y's board of directors announced the appointment of Anne Dishman on Monday. She is currently serving as the Vice President of Programs at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis. Dishman and her husband Chris are originally from Cozad.

The Kearney YMCA just opened a $12.7 million expansion and renovation in December.

Dishman's first day is July 8. She replaces Ray Longoria, who transitioned to become the Y's program director.
