CENTRAL CITY, Neb. -- A central Nebraska hospital is hiring someone with years of hospital administration experience in the region to take the position of chief executive officer.

According to a news release, Jodi Mohr, a native Nebraskan, will assume the CEO position at Merrick Medical Center beginning June 24.

Mohr earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Bellevue University and has a master’s degree in health care management.

She served as the director of clinic operations at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings for more than seven years. There, she oversaw multiple primary care and specialty clinics. 

Mohr has extensive experience in imaging leadership at multiple critical access hospitals and in Grand Island at CHI Health St. Francis. 

“Jodi will be an outstanding leader for Merrick Medical Center and we’re excited to welcome her to the Bryan family,” said Patrick Ganyo, system vice president of rural services at Bryan Health. “She has a tremendous passion for making a positive impact on local patient care. Her drive will greatly benefit Central City and the surrounding communities.”

The Merrick Medical Center is located in Central City and is an entity of Bryan Health.
