GRAND ISLAND, Neb.- A winter weather advisory is still in place for parts of Central Nebraska.
Even though the city of Grand Island woke up with some chilly weather from a late March snow storm, classes weren’t canceled. The city functioned normally as of Monday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, there’s still a winter weather advisory until Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. for some counties including Hall, Adams, Hamilton and Merrick.
Officials said more snow is possible through Monday night and near-blizzard conditions could develop, especially in areas west of Grand Island.
