Officials in Kearney are closing a street for an emergency sanitary sewer repair.

KEARNEY, Neb. — Officials in Kearney are closing a street for an emergency sanitary sewer repair.

The utilities department announced Wednesday evening that E Ave. is closed immediately from 30th St. to 31st St. Officials will reopen the road when the necessary repairs are completed.

The city is asking drivers to use caution in the area and to watch for workers and equipment.
