Firefighters respond to house explosion in Wood River

WOOD RIVER, Neb. (KSNB) - First responders were called to a house explosion in Wood River near 11th and Main streets on Saturday at 9:15 a.m.

According to one Wood River resident, they said they could feel the explosion from across the town.

The Wood River Fire Department, Alda Volunteer Fire Department, Cairo City Fire Department, Grand Island Fire Department and Nebraska State Patrol responded to this incident.
