High powered offense propels Valentine to big win over North Central

Behind a 47 point first half, the Valentine Badgers were able to see off the North Central Knights 70-40 picking up their tenth win on the season.

SPRINGVIEW -- Behind a 47 point first half, the Valentine Badgers were able to see off the North Central Knights 70-40 picking up their tenth win on the season.

The Badgers came out on fire behind a 28 point first quarter where they held the Knights to just 10 points.

In the first half, Andon Olson went a perfect 8-8 from the field as he went on to be the leader scorer in the game with 26 and finished with 8 rebounds in the contest.

In the first half, the Badgers hit over 58 percent of their three point chances as the Knights had no answer for the high scoring Valentine offense.

The Badgers second leading scorer Dominic Beebout finished the game with 19 points.

With the win, Valentine moves to 10-10 on the year and North Central falls to 8-10.
