Highways; roads in Adams and Webster County closed due to extreme weather

According to Nebraska 511 as of Friday afternoon, almost all county roads and highways east of Kenesaw all the way to Fairbury are closed and impassable by vehicle travel.

Saturday morning update: roads remain closed.

CENTRAL Neb. – Upwards of six inches of snow in parts of Central Nebraska have made roads impassable due to snow and cold temperatures. 

According to Nebraska 511 as of Friday afternoon, almost all county roads and highways east of Kenesaw all the way to Fairbury are closed and impassable by vehicle travel. 

Adams and Webster county in Central Nebraska are the two counties with the most closures. 

Visit 511.nebraska.gov to view all road conditions and closures across the state.
