GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — A Doniphan teenager already facing 12 sex-related charges is now accused of dozens of additional crimes.
The Hall County Attorney filed 48 new charges against 17-year-old Cody Holum on Thursday. They include 16 counts of possession of child porn, 14 counts of sex trafficking a minor, 10 counts of having a photo of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor, six counts of sexual assault and one count each of child abuse and terroristic threats.
The arrest affidavit for the case is sealed, but the criminal complaint lists at least 13 different victims and says the alleged crimes happened between April 2019 and October 2023. At a hearing on Friday, a judge set Holum’s bond at 10 percent of $500,000.
Holum has already pleaded not guilty to 12 similar charges that were filed in October. According to our news partners KSNB Local 4, those charges accuse Holum of blackmailing a girl by threatening to expose her nude photo if she didn’t allow him to sexually assault her. Another victim claims Holum threatened her family if she didn’t obey him. Holum has asked a judge that this case be transferred to juvenile court. A hearing on the request is set for Jan. 10.
A preliminary hearing on the latest charges is set for Jan. 24.
