Lincoln Southwest girls down Lincoln Northeast to earn HAC Tournament title

LINCOLN, Neb. — The Lincoln Southwest girls have added some hardware to their undefeated season.

The Silver Hawks defeated Lincoln Northeast 56-51 on Saturday to win the Heartland Athletic Conference Tournament.

Senior and Husker committ Kennadi Williams led Lincoln Southwest in scoring with 20 points while sophomore Eleanor Griffin also hit double digits with 11.

Northern Illinois commit Doneelah Washington led all scorers with 28 for Lincoln Northeast.
