HASTINGS, Neb. – An eye care business isn't letting an accident slow it down.

Nebraska Eye Care says it will be open for business on Thursday despite a car crashing into its building on Wednesday.

Just after noon, Hastings Police responded to an accident at Nebraska Eye Care in the Burlington Village in Hastings.

One vehicle drove into the waiting room of the eye care business and destroyed their front window.

Hastings Police say the driver was a 69-year-old woman who mistook the gas for the brake. She was transported to a hospital for minor injuries, but no one in the business was injured.
