KEARNEY, Neb. -- A pair of Perkins County runners are the top two finishers in the Class D state cross country meet.

Junior Mason McGreer claimed the title with a time of 16:46.57 and freshman Elijah Goodell finished eight seconds behind him to place second.

North Platte St. Patrick’s claimed the team title with three runners finishing in the top 10.
