Grand Island police say a family made out with thousands of dollars in merchandise at Verizon Wireless over the weekend.

GRAND ISLAND , Neb. (KSNB) - Grand Island police say a family made out with thousands of dollars in merchandise at Verizon Wireless over the weekend.

Police said a store employee reported around $7,200 in electronics taken from the store on Saturday.

The employee stated that a man, woman and juvenile female came into the store and concealed multiple devices before leaving the store without paying.

The incident is still under investigation.
