Blackledge throws support behind Rhule

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Nebraska fans can count at least one national media personality as a fan of new head coach Matt Rhule.

Todd Blackledge is a color analyst for NBC, which will be televising 12 Big Ten games this year as part of the conference's new media deal. He says he believes in Rhule, and not just because they both went to Penn State.

He cited the physicality of Nebraska's spring practices as for reasons to believe Nebraska will turn things around, though he cautioned against believing it will happen all at once.

The Big Ten announced Wednesday that the Huskers will be televised on NBC on November 11 against Maryland and November 18 at Wisconsin.
