KEARNEY, Neb. -- Law enforcement said they arrested two people from other states after finding several controlled substances during a traffic stop. 

Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol arrested 36-year-old Podjo Rowe of California, and 29-year-old Lianie Feliciano of Ohio around 9:25 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 80.

NSP said a trooper saw a Dodge Durango speeding at 100 mph on I-80 near Shelton. During the stop, the trooper reported smelling marijuana coming form the inside of the vehicle. 

Authorities said that while searching the vehicle, they found two handguns, two sets of brass knuckles, dozens of pills which included ecstasy, hydrocodone, and codeine, as well as 37 grams of marijuana. 

Three children were reportedly in the vehicle, one of which was not wearing their seat belt. 

The driver, Rowe, and passenger, Feliciano, were arrested for possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, no injury child abuse, possession of a firearm during a drug violation, and possession of marijuana - less than one ounce. 

Rowa was also cited for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, and failure to use a child restraint. 

Both Row and Feliciano were lodged in Buffalo County Jail. The children were place in protective care.
