GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- Grand Island Pride held its 2023 Pride Festival over the weekend. 

Prior to the event starting on Saturday, there was a slight rain delay. Vendors were able to set up at 9:30, and the march started around 11 a.m.

The vendors had several booths had buttons, Pride memorabilia, giving away hugs, and other items. There were also booths selling art and food for those in attendance. 

Following the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. event, event goers, who were 18 years or older, were invited to attend the Drag Show at Balz Banquet Hall at 9 p.m.
