KEARNEY, Neb. — Patients will be going to different locations to get care at a clinic in Kearney.

CHI Health Good Samaritan announced Monday that CHI Health Clinic Internal Medicine will relocate next week to the Medical Building North on the Good Sam campus. The clinic was previously based on the second floor of the hospital’s main medical building.

The following week, CHI Health Clinic General Surgery will relocate from the Medical Building North to the second floor of the main medical building.

A news release says the change is meant to allow for easier patient access. The additional space at the north building will also allow the internal medicine clinic to host the first-of-its-kind Hybrid Rural Track Residency Program. CHI Health and Creighton University School of Medicine specially designed the new program to help ease rural staffing challenges by training internal medicine students in Kearney as well as Omaha.

In addition to the new location, the internal medicine clinic’s phone number will also change to 308-865-2364. Business hours, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., will remain the same.

The Internal Medicine practice will close at noon on Thursday, June 15 and will remain closed Friday, June 16 to accommodate the move. A provider will be available during this time by calling 308-865-2364.

The General Surgery practice will be closing at noon on Thursday, June 22 and will remain closed Friday, June 23 to accommodate the move. A provider will be available during this time by dialing 308-865-2551.
